The Warriors and Pelicans are both one win away from advancing to the second round of the NBA Playoffs. New Orleans jumped out to a 16-point first-quarter lead and cruised to a 119-102 home win over Portland. The Pelicans grabbed a 3-0 lead and will try to close out the series at home on Saturday.
Golden State outscored the Spurs in every quarter en route to a 110-97 triumph in San Antonio. The Warriors will go for a four-game sweep Sunday in Texas.
Elsewhere, the 76ers grabbed a 2-1 series lead on the Heat with a 128-108 win in Miami. Game Four of that best-of-seven set is Saturday in South Beach.
Tonight, the Raptors and Celtics aim for 3-0 series leads. Toronto visits Washington and Boston plays at Milwaukee.
The Pacers and Cavaliers also play Game Three in Indiana, with that series tied at one.
